15th June 2011: Stephen Merrigan (Roadstone 'A') reached the last 16 of the Masters event of the 2011 European Snooker Championships in Sofia, before losing 4-0 to former professional Darren Morgan (Wales). The knockout results from the tournament are available here.

22nd May 2011: Jason Devaney (Deel Rover) won the Irish Senior Championship today, beating David Hogan (New Institute) 8-6 in the final. Robert Redmond (Roadstone 'A') reached the semi-finals of the before losing 6-5 to Jason. Robert's team-mate George Tierney had earlier lost to Jason 5-2 in the quarter-finals, while Robert had beaten Martin McCrudden (Celbridge) 5-3.

12th May 2011: Brendan Thomas (Roadstone 'C') won the Premier League Individual, beating team-mate Chris Hannigan 5-3 in the final. Full results from the Individual are available here.

10th May 2011: Spawell 'A' won the Premier League Team Cup with a 9-5 win over Glenageary. Results from the Premier League Team Cup are available here.

9th May 2011: Roadstone 'A' retained their Premier League title tonight with a 9-3 win over Roadstone 'C'. Nearest challengers Roadstone 'B' drew 6-6 with Spawell 'A', but it was not enough as they finished one point behind.

30th April 2011: Willows 'A' retained the D.B.S.L. Division 1 Team Cup today, beating Dublin Bus 7-3 in Roadstone Snooker Club, while Roadstone G' retained the Division 2 Team Cup, beating Classic 9-4 in the Division 2 Cup Final. 16th April 2011: Brendan Thomas (Roadstone 'C') won the 6th East Intermediate snooker tournament in Crossguns Snooker Club today, beating team-mate Stephen Byrne 3-0 in the final. Brendan also had the highest break with a 94.

10th April 2011: Keith Sheldreck (Roadstone 'B') narrowly lost the final of the 7th RIBSA Senior Ranking Tournament in Carlow today, losing 5-4 to Brendan O'Donoghue (Nenagh). Keith had earlier beaten ex-professionals Rodney Goggins (Wexford) 4-1 in the quarter-finals, and David Hogan (Nenagh) 4-3 in the semi-finals.

8th April 2011: Roadstone 'D' won the Division 1 title this week. With 1 match left they are 6 points ahead with only 4 points available for nearest challengers Ierne.

7th April 2011: The European Team Snooker Championships are taking place in Malta from 29th March-7th April and the D.B.S.L. has representatives playing in both the Men's and Masters' events.

Gavin Stokes (Spawell 'A') played for the Ireland 'B' team alongside Clinton Franey (Wicklow) and Nigel Power (Celbridge) in the Men's event. Gavin's team lost 10-5 to England in the last 16.

In the Masters event, Stephen Merrigan (Roadstone 'A'), paired with Joe Delaney (Wexford), lost 7-3 to England in the semi-finals, while Brendan Thomas (Roadstone 'C'), who partnered Ernie McMullen (Newbridge), lost out to Malta 'B' in the last 12. 20th March 2011: Ross Doyle (Glenageary) won the 5th Under-19 Billiards tournament in Edenderry Snooker Club today. This is Ross's 2nd tournament win in a row as he won the previous Under-19's tournament in Edenderry last month.

19th March 2011: George Tierney (Roadstone 'A') won the 5th East Intermediate snooker tournament in Celbridge Snooker Club today, beating Paul Ennis (Roadstone 'B') 3-1 in the final. George also had the highest break with a 62.

19th March 2011: Chris Humphries (Classic) won the Division 2 Individual in Roadstone Snooker Club today. He beat Patrick Curran (Roadstone 'E') 2-0 in the final. Full results from the day are available here.

18th March 2011: Classic won the Division 2 title this week, with a 3-1 win over nearest rivals Roadstone 'E'. They are 17 points clear with only 16 available for Roadstone 'E'.

13th March 2011: Paul Smith (Roadstone 'A') won the 2010-2011 Over 35's Championship in Roadstone Snooker Club today. He beat Keith Sheldreck (Roadstone 'B') 3-2 in the final. Full results from the day are available here.
