6th April 2012: John Sutton beat Mark Dooley (Roadstone 'A') to win the Terry Rogers Easter Handicap competition.
 
5th April 2012: Roadstone 'A' and Classic won the Premier League and Division 1 titles tonight respectively.
 
1st April 2012: Wayne Doyle (Glenageary) reached the semi-final of the 7th Senior Billiards tournament in Carlow today before losing 2-0 to Aidan Murray (Wicklow). Former snooker professional Rodney Goggins beat Aidan 2-0 in the final.
 
31st March 2012: The East Intermediate team reached the final of the Intermediate Team Championships in Carlow today. They lost 3-2 to the South East team. The team comprised of captain Wayne Doyle (Glenageary), Philip Browne, Stephen Byrne (Roadstone 'B'), Chris Hannigan (Darcy McGees 'A') and Alan Cusack (Howth CYMS), all DBSL players.
 
25th March 2012: Brendan Thomas (Roadstone 'B') reached the final of the 6th Masters Series Event in Carlow today before losing 3-2 to John Connolly (Wexford). Brendan had earlier beaten among others Frank Sarsfield (Limerick) in the earlier rounds.
 
24th March 2012: Peter Murphy (Willows 'A') won the 2nd Over 35's in Willows Snooker Club today. He beat Brendan Thomas (Roadstone 'B') 3-1 in the final. Brendan made the highest break, a 66 against Mark Farrell (Willows 'A') in the quarter-final. Full results are available here.
 
15th March 2012: Stephen Merrigan (Roadstone 'A') reached the quarter-finals of the European Team Masters Championship with Ernie McMullen before losing 6-0 to the other Irish team of Albert Hogan and Mark Tuite. All the results from the Masters Championship are available here.
 
8th March 2012: Roadstone 'D' clinched the Division 2 title tonight with a 4-0 win over Darcy McGees 'D'. The result leaves them 14 points ahead of nearest challengers Dublin Bus with 3 matches to go.
 
3rd March 2012: Tony Kenny (Roadstone 'D') won the 2011-2012 Division 2 Individual which was held in Terry Rogers Snooker Club today. He beat Neil Ladrigan (Dublin Bus) 3-1 in the final. Liam Brady (Darcy McGees 'D') got the highest break with an excellent 78. All the results from the day are available here.
 
26th February 2012: Ross Doyle (Glenageary) won the 3rd Under-19 Billiards tournament in Edenderry Snooker Club today. He beat Mark Nolan in the semi-final before beating Shane Menton in the final, both local players.
 
25th February 2012: Philip Browne (Roadstone 'B') won the 4th East Intermediate in Terry Rogers Snooker Club today. He beat Ian Smith (Darcy McGees 'A') 3-0 in the final. George Tierney (Roadstone 'A') had the highest break, a 76.

Wayne Doyle (Glenageary) finished number 1 in the rankings after the tournament today and so will now play the other number one ranked players from each intermediate region at the National Championship finals weekend in May. All the results from the day are available here.
 
19th February 2012: Wayne Doyle (Glenageary) reached the semi-final of the European Open Billiards in Carlow today, before losing to eventual winner Billy Bousfield. The knockout results after the group stages are available here.
 
16th February 2012: Wayne Doyle (Glenageary) had a break of 92 in Howth in his 2-0 win against Martin Mulhern (Howth CYMS) this week.
