26th May 2013: A number of DBSL players took part in the National Championships down in Carlow this weekend. Robert Redmond (Roadstone 'A') reached the Senior Championship final, losing 8-5 to former professional Michael Judge. Robert was 4-0 ahead at one stage before Michael hit back. Ross Doyle (Glenageary 'A') lost 4-0 to Cork player Ryan Cronin in the Intermediate Shield semi-final.

Darragh Cusack (Terry Rogers 'B') lost 4-1 to Fergal Quinn in the Under-14 Champsionship final. Wayne Doyle (Glenageary 'A') lost 457-650 to Rodney Goggins (Wexford) in the final of the Senior Billiards Championship.

19th May 2013: Robert Redmond (Roadstone 'A') won the Premier League Individual today in Terry Rogers Snooker Club. He beat Philip Browne (Roadstone Select) 3-2 in the final.

4th May 2013: Robert Redmond (Roadstone 'A') won the inaugural DBSL Shootout today. He beat Brendan Murphy (Darcy McGees 'C') in the final. Robert also had the highest break, a 93. Full results are available here.

4th May 2013: Terry Rogers 'A' won the Premier League Team Cup today, beating Darcy McGees 'A' in the final. Roadstone 'C' won the Division 1 Team Cup, narrowly winning against Willows 'A', while Joeys won the Division 2 Team Cup, defeating Roadstone 'E'. Full results are available here.

21st April 2013: Keith Sheldreck (Terry Rogers 'A') won the Over 35's Championship in Roadstone Snooker Club today. Keith beat Mark Farrell (Willows 'A') 3-1 in the final. Keith also made the highest break of the day in the final, an 88. Full results are available here.

20th April 2013: Darcy McGees 'B' won the Dublin Club Championships in Darcy McGees Snooker Club today. They beat Roadstone Select in the final. The highest break of the day was made by Paul McGrane (Roadstone Select), an 104.

18th April 2013: Roadstone Select won the Premier League title this week despite losing to nearest challengers and former champions Roadstone 'A' 7-5. Roadstone Select went into this evening's matches needing 1 frame to win the league and ended up winning 3 of the 6 frames. Congratulations from the DBSL to the new champions.

13th April 2013: Darragh Cusack (Terry Rogers 'D') won the DBSL Under 16's Championship in Roadstone Snooker Club today. He beat Jordan Tierney (Roadstone) 2-0 in the final. Results from the quarter-finals are available here.

11th April 2013: Glenageary 'A' won the Division 1 title this week by beating nearest challengers Pioneers 4-0 with a match to spare. Champions of Division 2 Terry Rogers 'C' finished off their season by beating nearest rivals Guinness 3-1 to win the league by 30 points. Congratulations from the DBSL to both teams.

6th April 2013: Darragh Cusack (Terry Rogers 'D') reached the final of the 2013 Under 14 National Championships in Douglas Snooker Club in Cork today. Darragh will play Fergal Quinn in the final on 26th May in Carlow. Results and a report from the tournament are available here.

6th April 2013: Paul McGaughran (Terry Rogers 'C') won the 2012-2013 Division 2 Individual which was held in Terry Rogers Snooker Club today. He beat James Waldron (Guinness) 3-1 in the final. Full results are available here.

28th March 2013: Stephen Merrigan (Roadstone 'A') and George O'Hara (Roadstone Select) reached the semi-finals of the Senior Team Championship in the European Team Championships in Serbia before losing to Belgium 1. Ireland's other team of Mark Tuite and Anthony Bonnar beat Belgium in the final. Philip Browne (Roadstone Select) played for Ireland 2 in the Men's Team Championship and his team reached the quarter-finals before eventually losing to Poland 2.
