28th January 2013: The DBSL has learnt of the passing of James Kenny, father of Tony Kenny (Roadstone 'D'). James will be taken to the church in Kingswood, Tallaght tomorrow (Tuesday) at 5pm, with the burial taking place on Wednesday morning after 10am mass. The DBSL would like to pass on its deepest condolences to Tony and his family.

25th January 2013: Philip Browne (Roadstone Select) has been selected to play for the Republic of Ireland Senior Team in the European Championships which takes place in Serbia from 22nd-28th March. Philip's teammate George O'Hara and Stephen Merrigan (Roadstone 'A') will be representing Ireland in the Masters team event.

17th January 2013: The DBSL has learnt of the passing of the sister of David Little (Darcy McGees 'B') who died on Sunday. The DBSL would like to pass on condolences to David and his family.

16th January 2013: Philip Browne (Roadstone Select) had a 103 total clearance in his league match against Derek O'Rourke (Terry Rogers 'B') this week.

13th January 2013: Keith Sheldreck (Terry Rogers 'A') won the 4th DBSL Over 35's tournament in Willows Snooker Club today. He beat Ivor Fitzpatrick (Pioneers) 3-2 in the final. Keith also had the highest break, a 77. Full results are available here.

12th January 2013: Aaron Holland (Joey's) won the 4th DBSL Under-16 tournament in Roadstone Snooker Club today. He beat Luke Glover (Ken Doherty S.C.) 2-1 in the final.

9th December 2012: Brendan Thomas (Roadstone Select) won the third DBSL Over 35's tournament in Darcy McGees Snooker Club today. He beat Alan Cullen (Willows 'A') 3-2 in the final. Brendan also had the highest break with a 64.

8th December 2012: Daniel Merrigan (Roadstone) won the third DBSL Under-16 tournament in Roadstone Snooker Club today. He beat Jordan Tierney (Roadstone) 2-0 in the final.

24th November 2012: George O'Hara (Roadstone Select) won the 3rd East Intermediate in Cross Guns Snooker Club today. He beat Ross Doyle (Glenageary 'A') 3-0 in the final. George Tierney (Roadstone 'A') made the highest break with an 91.

17th November 2012: Darragh Cusack (Terry Rogers 'D') won the 2nd RIBSA Eastern Under-14 tournament in Darcy McGees Snooker Club today. He beat Michael Woods (Dublin) 2-1 in the final. Darragh lost 2-1 to the same opponent in the Under-16 final.

11th November 2012: Brendan Thomas (Roadstone Select) won the second DBSL Over 35's tournament in Darcy McGees Snooker Club today. He beat Keith Sheldreck (Terry Rogers 'A') 3-1 in the final. Keith had the highest break with a 90. Full results are available here.
