3rd Over 35's Ranking Tournament 2010-2011

The 3rd Over 35's tournament of 2010-2011 was played in Roadstone Snooker Club on 18th December 2010. The competition was handicapped
as ever with Premier League players off scratch, Division 1 off +12 and Division 2 off +20. The tournament had its largest
entry so far, with 14 players taking part.
Keith Sheldreck (Roadstone 'B')
won the tournament beating Richard Hayes (Howth CYMS) 3-0 in the final. Keith had earlier beaten
Dave Carton (Willows 'B') 3-0 in the last 16, no.1 seed Stephen Merrigan (Roadstone 'A') 3-1 in the quarter-final
and George O'Hara (Roadstone 'C') 3-1 in the semi-final.
No. 2 seed Richard reached the final, firstly having a bye into the quarter-finals where he beat Mark Garvey (Roadstone 'G') 3-2 and then
beat Peter Murphy (Willows 'A') 3-1 in the semi-final. Peter had earlier had a great win coming from 2-0 down to beat Brendan
Thomas (Roadstone 'C') 3-2.
