The 5th Under 16's tournament of 2012-2013 was played in Ken Doherty Snooker Club on 9th February 2013. Number 1 seed Daniel Merrigan (Roadstone) won the tournament beating Jordan Tierney (Roadstone) 2-1 in the final on the final black.

There was a entry of 9 players who were divided into two groups of 5 and 4 players respectively. Darragh Cusack (Terry Rogers 'B') and Jordan qualified from the 1st group, while Daniel and Aaron Holland (Joeys) qualified from the second group. Each semi-final was played over one frame, with Daniel beating Darragh and Jordan beating Aaron, with both games again going down to the black ball. Daniel made the highest break of 28.
