The DBSL would like to congratulate both Brendan Thomas of Roadstone A, on winning the RIBSA Intermediate no.1 held in Celbridge in September, and Andrew Doherty of Willows A, on winning the RIBSA Intermediate no.4 held in Darcy McGees in December.
Andrew was also a finalist in the RIBSA Intermediate no.2 held in Nenagh in October.
The 2018/19 Seasons individual ongoing ranking lists for division 1 and 2 are now posted.

For the first time in the history of the all Ireland club championships we will have a team competing which includes 6 members of the same family. Stephen Merrigan, Stephen Merrigan jnr, Pat Merrigan, Alan Merrigan, Shane Merrigan and Daniel Merrigan have qualified for the all Ireland club championships in Killarney, by winning the Dublin qualifier beating Darcy Mc Gees B 3 – 1 in the final. We would like to wish them and all the teams who qualified the very best of luck in Killarney.
Congratulations to Alan Cusack of the Pioneers, winner of the DBSL Handicap Tournament Series 2. Alan beat Ivor Fitzpatrick, also of the Pioneers, 3-1 in the final.
DBSL would like to thank the Roadstone Snooker Club for their hospitality throughout the day. We would also like to thank tournament director Stephen Merrigan for coordinating the event, and to all who attended.

The first cycle of the division 2 league fixtures for the 2018/19 Season are now complete. Various handicaps have been adjusted and have been posted to the website.
Please note the updated handicaps for division 2 are in use from this week 13th/15th November.
Philip Browne (Terry Rogers) made a 102 break in his Division 1 match against Mark Farrell (Willows A) this week.
Philip O Connor (Darcy Mc Gees A) made a 109 break in his Division 1 match against Liam Brady (Darcy Mc Gees B) this week.
The Dublin Billiards and Snooker Leagues were saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Mick Grogan. We would like to pass on our deepest sympathies, and our thoughts and prayers are with all of Mick’s family and friends at this time. May he rest in peace. Mick was a true gentleman and will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
