2nd May 2009: Mick Holohan (
Glenalbyn 'A') and
Stephen Merrigan JNR (
Roadstone 'E') won the Division 1
and 2 individual respectively in
Spawell Snooker Club today. Mick beat clubmate
Naoise Kelly in the final, while Stephen beat
Peter
Murphy (
Willows).
Robert Redmond (
A.L.S.A.A.) had previously beaten
Stephen Merrigan (
Roadstone 'A') in the Premier

28th April 2009: Roadstone 'B' won the Premier League Cup tonight beating
Spawell 'B'
in the final. A report is available

25th April 2009: Howth CYMS and
Willows won the Division 1 and Division 2
cups respectively today in
Spawell Snooker Club.
Howth CYMS beat
Glenalbyn 'A' in the Division 1
final, while
Willows knocked out Division 2 champions
Ierne 'B' and
Guinness before
beating
Spawell 'E' in the final.

25th April 2009: Dublin reached the final of the Inter County Championship today where they were beaten
by Limerick. The tournament took place in Caesars Palace Snooker Club in Galway. Dublin were represented by
Philip Browne (A.L.S.A.A.), Robert Redmond (A.L.S.A.A.), Brendan Thomas (Spawell 'B'), George Tierney (Roadstone 'A'),
Brendan Murphy (Spawell 'B') and Cathal Harling (Roadstone 'C'). Dublin had earlier beaten Limerick to top their group
in the group stages but lost 3-2 to them in the final. Dublin beat Carlow 3-0 and Limerick beat Galway 3-1 in the semi-finals. George had a 104 in the final against Limerick player
Mike Howley. A big thanks to Benny Fahy for providing excellent playing conditions during the tournament.
 
11th April 2009: Gary Stewart (
Roadstone 'C') won the over 35's
championship in Roadstone Snooker Club today beating
George O'Hara (
A.L.S.A.A.) 3-1 in the final.

9th April 2009: Congratulations to A.L.S.A.A. who retained their Premier League title this
evening with a 6-6 draw at home to Spawell 'B'.
 
2nd April 2009: Ierne 'B' clinched the Division 2 league title this
evening with a 2-2 draw away to Spawell 'E'. This leaves them 10 points clear of
Dublin Bus with only 2 matches to go.
 
31st March 2009: Keith Sheldreck (Roadstone 'A') had a 103 in his league match with
Brendan Murphy (Spawell 'B') this week.
 
15th March 2009: Roadstone 'A' clinched the
Dublin Club Championship
today beating
Roadstone 'C' 3-1 in the final. 12 teams took part in the tournament
which was jointly hosted by the Roadstone and Spawell snooker clubs. Report and results

12th March 2009: Roadstone 'C' clinched the Division 1 league title this
evening with a 3-1 win away to Spawell 'C'. This leaves them 21 points clear of
Spawell 'C' with only 4 matches to go.
 
28th February 2009: Keith Sheldreck (
Roadstone 'A') won his second over 35's
tournament in Spawell Snooker Club today beating teammate and D.B.S.L. chairman
Stephen Merrigan 3-0 in the final.

31st January 2009: George O'Hara (
A.L.S.A.A.) won his first over 35's
tournament in Roadstone Snooker Club today beating
Mick Grogan (
Roadstone 'E') 3-0 in the final.

27th January 2009: Robert Redmond (A.L.S.A.A.) made a magnificent 135 total clearance
in the second frame of his league match with Ivor Fitzpatrick (Ierne 'A') tonight. Robert was on for
a maximum at one stage after potting the opening 9 reds and blacks but continued with pinks and blues to finish the break.
 
25th January 2009: St. Matthews from Belfast won the
All Ireland Club
Championship in Killarney today beating
Kilkenny 3-2 in the final.

Spawell 'A' 3-2 in the quarter-final
